Well once again I've let time get the better of me and I have fallen way behind in my responses to all the comments and faves, so with out further delay I'd like to take this time to send out a great big thank you to all my DA friends old and new. STS-129, OV-104 Atlantis lifted off this afternoon at 14:28 E on a re-service mission to the International Space Station. Scheduled Landing is targeted for November 27, 2009.
ARES-1X Launch, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 @ 11:30 E

ARES-1X took wing this morning at 11:30 E. after yesterday's scrub due to weather and after a morning of different target times due to weather. At 11:30 E, ARES-1X lept from Launch pad 39B and into a beautiful blue Florida sky punctuated by scattered clouds, And no "Triboelectrfication".
This morning, Tuesday, October 20, 2009, man began another "Giant Leap" back to the moon with the roll out of ARES-1X to Launch pad 39B. First motion in the VAB took place at 01:39 E with ARES going hard down on Pad 39B at 09:17 E.
STS-129 Roll out took place this morning, Wednesday, October 14, 2009. First motion of Atlantis was at 06:38 E. Atlantis went hardown on Pad 39A at 13:31 E. Next up is the ARES-1X roll out scheduled to begin on Monday, October 19, 2009 with first motion at 00:01 E. History will be made on the 19th with the successful roll out of ARES culminating with two different vehicles/programs on Pad's 39A and 39B at the same time.
